Measures & meter

Short, practical help designed for lookup: follow the procedure, then compare the result in your score.

Measure chrome sits beside the bar numbers — that is where structural bar edits live.

Insert or delete measures

Procedure
  1. Hover the measure band to expose the chrome controls.
  2. Use insert (+) or delete actions for the active measure.

Change time signature

Procedure
  1. Select one or more measures via their number bands (⌘/Ctrl-click, Shift-range).
  2. Toolbar Meter (time signature icon).
  3. Enter # numerator/denominator syntax and apply.

Copy and paste measure blocks

Procedure
  1. Clear note/rest selection so only measures are highlighted.
  2. ⌘/Ctrl+C copies the contiguous measure block.
  3. Select the destination measure band(s), then ⌘/Ctrl+V.
